CHECK-OUT TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY

The process for the Zarpe is the following:

1.- Call the Port Captain on the phone (322-29 70214) one day before to provide the following information:
         1- Boat name
         2- Captain´s Name
         3- All the crew names
         4- Where are they going (city and country)
         5- Departure date and time (exact hour they are leaving)

2.- After the phone call send all passports by scanner to the e-mail address:
cnvovall@sct.gob.mx

If does not have scanner take all of them with you the next day to the Port Captain.

Port Captain needs to e-mail passports to Migration to valid all the information.

3.- The day of the departure, half hour before call Port Captain on Channel 16 to get the slip assignment
                In Marina Nuevo Vallarta, in front of the Port Captain Office.
                Important: The process takes 10-15 minutes, Marina Nuevo Vallarta authorized to dock the boat
For free for just one hour and a half, after that time they will charge one day.

4.- Go to the Port Captain´s Office to fill out the form for the zarpe and pay the fees there:
                Boats from 3 to 20 tons of weight pays $227.00 pesos
                Boats from 21 to 100 tons of weight pays $343.00 pesos
                Note: More convenient pay with a credit card, if not will have to go to the Bank and will take longer.

5.- Provide to Port Captain´s Agent, the original Visa form that you got when you got in the country last time. He will send
                It to Migration department.

Important: Capitania de Puerto Nuevo Vallarta working hours for this purpose is 9am to 1pm.
